Designed by Charles for his sister, this family oasis, built by the architect’s son, is truly a ‘family’ project. Not only did they realize this work together, but also the goal of the project was to create a unique, comfortable home for the two empty nesters to have a place where family and friends can gather comfortably and be a positive example for the world by being ‘green’ and self-sustaining.

One of the homeowners had grown up in a home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, which also influenced their taste in architecture.

Private Residence, United States

Currently under construction, this family home is centered around an outdoor pool and terrace. Trellises line either side of the pool, with an outdoor kitchen on the one side and the master suite on the other. The living room and kitchen offer views to the pool and serve as the interior heart of the home, nurturing the interactions of the family throughout their daily lives.
